Cogent, Inc is hiring an Order Coordinator Manager – Field Service to lead our Field Service Order Coordination team while actively managing their own field service coordination workload. About the Role The Order Coordinator Manager – Field Service is responsible for overseeing the coordination of field service work from start to finish—ensuring jobs are planned accurately, resources are secured, schedules are optimized, and customer expectations are met or exceeded. In addition to leading, mentoring, and developing the Field Service Order Coordination team, this role personally coordinates assigned field service jobs, serving as a working manager who remains deeply connected to day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the Field Service Order Coordination team Independently manage field service coordination work, including estimates, scheduling, procurement, and customer communication Distribute and prioritize work across the team to meet service timelines and customer commitments Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Service leadership to align expectations and resources Develop, implement, and continuously improve standardized field service workflows Establish, track, and report on key performance metrics for service coordination Mentor team members through feedback, performance reviews, and development planning Participate in leadership meetings, manager calls, and company initiatives Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members Complete administrative responsibilities such as approvals and reporting Embody Cogent’s core values and lead by example What We’re Looking For A hands-on manager who enjoys balancing leadership with execution Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail A collaborative leader who builds trust and accountability within their team Qualifications High school diploma required (Associate’s degree preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Valid driver’s license Field service coordination, operations, project coordination, or service management Experience managing or mentoring team members Salesforce or CRM experience (preferred) Work Environment Office-based role Moderate to high-paced workload Occasional travel to other locations for training or collaboration Overtime may be required during peak service periods We Offer Competitive pay Employee Ownership (ESOP) 401(k) with company match Profit-sharing bonuses Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Generous PTO, paid holidays, and volunteer time off Leadership development and career advancement opportunities Why This Role Stands Out This is not a desk-only management role.
