Pay Package Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,900 Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,654 Position Overview NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN in Rhode Island for a high-volume Med Surg unit in Utica, NY. This role involves caring for adult patients, primarily focused on post-surgical recovery and general medical conditions. Unit Details Unit Type: Med Surg Patient Population: Adult patients Common Diagnoses: Post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity (bariatric surgery) Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, feeding tubes Charting System: EPIC Scrub Color: Navy Blue Floating: Required based on census Requirements Active RN License in New York Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience Travel experience required BLS (AHA) Certification EPIC experience required Referral Bonus: Refer a qualified candidate and earn up to $500 referral bonus once the assignment is successfully completed.
