Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,445 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years required, with 2 years of Level I Trauma experience preferred License: Must have an active in-state license Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, PALS preferred Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience, experience in circulating required, scrubbing preferred Description: 2 years of Level I Trauma experience is required. Call and holiday shifts are required. No block scheduling available. First-time travelers are accepted. The position requires candidates to take 6 call shifts in a 6-week period, which may vary. Local candidates are accepted. Inefficient local travelers will receive a lower bill rate. Floating within required facility scope is expected. Pending licenses are not accepted. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Special requirements include trauma Level I experience. Screening for more than 2 years is necessary if the candidate has at least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience. Operating Room Registered Nurses should be well-rounded and up-to-date in most areas, excluding cardiovascular and transplant surgeries. Floating to other areas may be required based on facility needs. The average daily census in the department is 70-80 patients. The unit is a short-term acute care setting with multiple specialties. Documentation is conducted using a specific charting system. Additional certifications may be needed based on unit requirements. Candidates must provide 2 supervisor references. Candidates must meet specific experience and eligibility requirements as outlined in the job description. All travel nurses are required to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate facilities.
