Mechanical Assembler

About the Role As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a vital role in bringing complex components to life by interpreting technical blueprints and executing precise assembly sequences. You will utilize your mechanical aptitude to ensure every product meets rigorous quality standards, directly impacting the reliability and performance of our finished goods. Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders to guide the assembly of high-precision components. Execute complex assembly tasks using torque tools, hand tools, and specialized shop equipment to ensure structural integrity. Perform critical quality inspections, including the use of precision measuring instruments, to verify dimensions and tolerances. Install fasteners, thread inserts, and keenserts while maintaining strict adherence to internal quality and cleanliness standards. Operate and troubleshoot testing equipment, including vacuum pumps and pressure testing systems, to validate component functionality. Maintain accurate production records and labor reporting through digital data collection systems. Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient production environment. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and assembly specifications. Strong visual acuity for inspecting small details and reading precision instruments. Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50+ pounds. Preferred Skills Completion of one year of trade school, vocational training, or a relevant apprenticeship. Experience operating industrial equipment such as overhead cranes or forklifts. Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical systems and identifying operational anomalies based on machine feedback.
