Field Service Technician

TITLE: Field Service TechnicianTYPE: Direct HireLOCATION: Langhorne, PA areaONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Onsite with 25% Travel Across USASTART DATE: April/May 2026We are seeking a Field Service Technician to ensure high-performance electric equipment remain dependable and fully optimized at customer sites. In this role, you will commission newly installed equipment, diagnose issues, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and support customers who rely on these systems for uninterrupted operations.Perks of the role include:Competitive payVery good health benefits at no cost to yourself7.5% 401k contribution is given by employer - no employee contribution necessaryQuarterly and year end bonusesCompany stocks (ESOP)100% tuition reimbursementTravel only 25%MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESExamine mechanical assemblies for wear, damage, or other service needs.Use schematics to troubleshoot electrical concerns with multimeters, hipot testers, and specialized diagnostic tools.Travel to customer facilities to verify proper mechanical installation and confirm correct power and signal wiring.Perform detailed mechanical and electrical repairs to restore actuators to near-new condition.Conduct final functional testing to ensure equipment meets original performance specifications.Complete any required customer safety training (online or in person) prior to site work.Record all findings electronically to support repair estimates and job creation processes.Operate installed equipment to validate that connected systems function as intended.Perform on-site troubleshooting and component replacement, including motors, control assemblies, transformers, electronic chassis, and digital modules.Document all service activity, including travel and labor hours.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma required.Two-year technical degree in electronics preferred, with approximately 10 years of related experience.Willingness to travel approximately 2–4 times per month.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Experience diagnosing, repairing, and testing electro-mechanical equipment.Capable of following site procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.Ability to travel by car (rental provided) or plane on short notice.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Comfortable working directly and professionally with customer representatives.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Strong general math skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.EOE STATEMENTWe are an equal opportunity employer.
