Production Manager

*Specific Company information will be shared with qualified candidates. This plant is a mid-sized plant for a large multi-billion private US based company based in Raywood, TX. Great support and opportunity for growth.Company is seeking a self-motivated and proactive Production Manager. The Production Manager will report to the onsite Plant Manager for this ~35 person plant.Essential Duties:Responsible for the supervision of an ~15-person crew that operates in 2 shifts.Ensure products are manufactured to company standards and meet all quality control requirements.Schedule production in an efficient manner while ensuring that inventory levels are appropriate to meet customer requirements.Review accuracy of data for daily production reports.Establish and maintain an accident-free work environment.Ensures that plant machinery and equipment are in compliance with established company OSHA/ EPA policies and requirements.Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.Responsible for housekeeping in the production areas of the plant.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:Supervisory/management experience required.Building product or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.Mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively communicate with maintenance personnel.Experience building, maintaining, and leading a teamwork environment.Experience monitoring and managing adequate inventory controls.Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work well with customers.
