Middle School Administrator

Middle School Administrator Position Summary The Middle School Administrator serves as a key member of the school’s leadership team, working collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families to foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. This role requires strong instructional leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to building a collaborative culture that supports both student achievement and staff growth. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and supervision for middle school academic and behavioral programs. Support teachers in implementing effective instructional practices aligned with school goals and standards. Oversee student discipline while promoting a positive, inclusive school climate. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, students, and the community. Assist with school operations, including scheduling, testing, and data analysis to improve student outcomes. Support and coordinate professional development initiatives for teachers and staff. Serve as an active member of the school’s Leadership Team, Academic Team, and Student Support Team. Assist with the coordination and operations of middle school athletics. Oversee and schedule middle school elective courses. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Valid North Carolina Administrative or Principal License (preferred). Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience (middle grades experience strongly preferred). Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate both staff and students. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
