Mechanical Engineer 3Location: Tualatin, OR (Onsite) Duration: 6-Month Contract with possible extensions Pay Rate: Up to $60/hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong CAD design experience to support engineering and product development activities within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role will focus on mechanical design, CAD modeling, engineering documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing initiatives.The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments, strong proficiency with NX CAD software, and excellent communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Design & EngineeringDevelop and modify mechanical designs and assemblies using NX CAD softwareCreate and maintain detailed 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentationSupport design updates, engineering changes, and product improvement initiativesCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturabilityReview and interpret technical specifications and requirementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, and technical teams to support project executionParticipate in design reviews and technical discussionsCommunicate project status, technical findings, and design updates effectivelySupport issue resolution and continuous improvement initiativesDocumentation & SupportMaintain accurate engineering records and documentationUtilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communicationSupport project timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced engineering environmentRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical fieldStrong proficiency with NX CAD softwareExperience with mechanical design and CAD modelingExperience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments preferredStrong knowledge of engineering drawings and mechanical design principlesProficiency with Microsoft Office toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in an onsite collaborative environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting semiconductor equipment or related technologiesExposure to product development and engineering change processesExperience collaborating with manufacturing and production teamsFamiliarity with high-tech or precision manufacturing environmentsInterview Process30-minute interview with the hiring managerIn-person candidate screening/interview required prior to offer considerationWork EnvironmentFully onsite engineering and manufacturing environmentCollaborative and fast-paced technical settingCross-functional interaction with engineering and operations teamsPride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
