Accounting Operations Manager
Job Description:Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actionsStreamline and optimize the cash application and payment reconciliation processes to improve efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with Engineering to identify and implement automation tools or systems to enhance accounting operationsConduct regular training sessions for the accounting team to ensure they are updated with accounting policies, procedures, and best practicesAssist in developing and implementing internal controls and processes to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulationsCoordinate and oversee various ad hoc accounting projects, ensuring timely completion and accuracyCollaborate with Brand Payments during brand onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth financial transitions and closure of outstanding payments for our partnersPerform periodic reviews to confirm clearance of uncleared checks, maintaining accurate financial recordsCollaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance and proper accounting treatment for legal matters and related processes.Oversee invoice generation and revenue reconciliation, ensuring accurate billing and financial reportingPrepare audit letters and support files, facilitating internal and external audit processes for complianceSupervise and manage the accounting operations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and objectivesRequirements:At least 5 years experience in accounting operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership roleBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldSolid understanding of accounting operations processes, including cash application, reconciliation, and vendor paymentsStrong knowledge of the Order-to-Cash cycle and its relationship to accounting operationsAbility to collaborate effectively across departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficienciesProficient in using accounting software and platforms, including QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other relevant toolsExcellent attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex accounting issues and discrepanciesAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and guide the accounting teamDemonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of motivating and developing a high-performing teamFamiliarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to accounting operationsStrong financial acumen and the ability to interpret financial data and reports effectively.Benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision offered to all full-time employees: 75% of employee premium paid by Nabis.Competitive salary at $100k - $140k depending on experience.Flexible PTO policy401(k) plan with a match
