We encourage you to apply for our full-time OR Registered Nurse position.Position Summary and QualificationsRole Details:Self-scheduling options available, posted four weeks in advance for better predictability.A culture that fosters respect and teamwork among all surgical personnel.Ongoing investment in advanced equipment, including surgical tools and patient positioning aids, to ensure optimal safety and efficiency in the Operating Room.Regular interactions with unit leaders, including charge nurses, to ensure your insights on patient care and surgical workflow enhancements are valued.On-call duties required during specific non-business hours.Key Responsibilities:Assess patients prior to surgical procedures.Provide education to patients and their families regarding the procedure and peri-operative processes.Take charge of patient preparation, including IV therapy, administering preoperative medications, and verifying surgical sites.Engage in surgical site verification processes, including briefings, time-outs, debriefings, and adherence to universal protocols as per hospital guidelines.Identify and respond to patient emergencies effectively.Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care while implementing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement strategies.Collaborate as a key member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team, including providers, surgeons, and surgical technologists.Utilize the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to provide safe nursing care independently.Monitor patient conditions throughout your shift, documenting any changes and the care provided.Educate patients and their families/caregivers about medical conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care.Qualifications Required:Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.Active and in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri.BenefitsOur organization offers a comprehensive rewards package designed to support the health, well-being, career growth, and retirement planning of our team members.
