Fire Protection Engineer

We are seeking a fire protection engineer to support the design and modification of new and existing facilities.Primary responsibilities include performing engineering task analysis, site walk-downs, developing design documents such as plan drawings, piping isometrics, P&ID diagrams, and hydraulic calculations aligned with NFPA codes and standards.The role involves providing technical support during construction, start-up, and testing phases, as well as preparing data sheets, statements of work, procurement specs, and purchase requisitions.Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of recent design experience, preferably in suppression systems, with knowledge of mechanical systems, P&ID development, pump and line sizing, and NFPA standards.Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in fire protection or mechanical engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and preferably a Q clearance or ability to obtain one.
