See details about what we do .This position is a member of our TCEQ San Antonio Region Office .Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Conduct technical inspections, surveys, and follow-up investigations; review collected data; prepare reports which document field activities and observed conditions. Conduct environmental monitoring; and prepare technical papers regarding studies involving environmental subjects. Provide technical assistance to the public, regulated community, and other interested groups regarding the application of appropriate regulations. Assist with collecting and analyzing environmental samples. QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in a natural or physical science, engineering, environmental studies, or related field.One year of full-time experience in the field of environmental activities may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education.Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility.
