Mortgage Loan Officer
We are seeking a driven Inside Loan Officer who brings grit, consistency, and a strong work ethic to support the residential real estate business of The Reynolds Team. This role is designed for a loan officer who understands that success is built through daily effort, disciplined follow-up, and meaningful conversations.You will engage inbound and existing consumer inquiries, nurture relationships through consistent outreach, originate residential mortgage loans, and proactively work within an established database to uncover financing opportunities. This position rewards persistence, strong phone skills, and the ability to find opportunities where others may not.You will play a key role in helping buyers move from initial interest to homeownership through consistent communication and exceptional service. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager and operates in full alignment with Contour Mortgage's policies, procedures, and compliance oversight.Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $35,000 – $45,000, commensurate with experienceCommission on all funded loans, bonus tiered based on volume. Structured in accordance with company compensation policies and regulatory guidelinesEarning potential of $150K+Medical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) eligibilityPaid time offOngoing training and compliance supportResponsibilities:Engage and respond to inbound and existing consumer inquiries regarding mortgage financingConduct consistent outbound outreach and follow-up to nurture consumer relationships and uncover financing opportunities within the databaseBuild rapport and guide consumers through early-stage financing conversations in a clear, professional, and compliant mannerTake complete and accurate loan applications and collect required documentationOriginate residential mortgage loans in compliance with all federal, state, and investor guidelinesMaintain proactive communication with borrowers throughout the loan process to ensure a strong client experienceCollaborate closely with Inside Sales Associates to support buyer conversations and ensure smooth, compliant handoffsPartner with processing, underwriting, and operations teams to move loans efficiently toward closingAccurately document all activity, communications, and pipeline status in CRM and loan origination systemsFollow up with past, current, and future borrowers to maintain relationships and identify ongoing or future financing needsMeet individual performance, productivity, and service benchmarksQualifications:Active NMLS license with authorization to originate loans in FloridaPrior experience as an Inside Loan Officer, Loan Officer Assistant, or similar role preferredStrong phone presence with the stamina to handle a high volume of daily conversationsProven consistency in follow-up and outreach activitiesAbility to uncover opportunities through disciplined database engagementHighly organized with strong time management skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to sales and serviceProficiency with CRM and loan origination technologyAbout Company:The Reynolds Team has partnered with Compass, which is the #1 Independent Real Estate Brokerage in sales volume nationwide.
