Deployment Technician
*Description*The IT Technician will be responsible for imaging, reimaging, and deploying Windows-based devices to support end users across the organization. This role focuses on preparing new hardware, refreshing existing devices, and ensuring systems are configured, secured, and ready for use according to standard build processes.Key ResponsibilitiesImage and configure new Windows laptops and desktops using standard deployment tools and approved imagesReimage and refresh existing Windows devices for redeployment or troubleshootingPerform initial device setup including OS configuration, drivers, patches, and required applicationsValidate device functionality prior to deployment (hardware, connectivity, security policies)Maintain accurate inventory and asset documentation for imaged devicesFollow established procedures for device lifecycle management and data handlingEscalate issues related to imaging failures, hardware defects, or build discrepancies as neededRequired QualificationsExperience supporting Windows 10 and/or Windows 11 environmentsHands-on experience with device imaging or reimaging processesBasic understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and operating system configurationAbility to follow documented build procedures and work in a high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), SCCM, Autopilot, or similar imaging solutionsPrior experience in a desktop support, deployment, or IT operations role*Skills*field services, imaging, windows 10, windows 11*Top Skills Details*field services,imaging,windows 10,windows 11*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
