Quality Control Master Control Operator - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Quality Control Master Control Operator - Onsite for a position with a Leading Media and Entertainment Company located in Centennial, CO. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role will support a current on-air operations team during a major systems migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming quality control, commercial integration, and monitoring over 150 channel streams to ensure continuous availability and quality. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to act as the last line of defense for on-air content. Responsibilities: Support the on-air operations team with programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, and monitoring Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists, execute program and commercial changes, and support live-event workflows using software like SNELL Morpheus and Amagi Take ownership of commercial integration, ensuring flawless rolling of commercial breaks Contribute to the team monitoring 150+ channel streams, ensuring availability and identifying inconsistencies Guarantee the continuity of programming by confirming the readiness of all material for on-air playout Act as the last line of defense for internal clients, swiftly responding to on-air discrepancies Protect broadcasts by simulating the viewer experience, checking for proper audio, video, captioning, and picture quality Collaborate with supervisors to promptly recover from any on-air discrepancies Communicate with partner production teams to facilitate and execute requested changes to automation playlists Requirements: A High School Diploma and relevant certification or an Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or technical production requirements Must be willing to work in Centennial, CO; this position is fully onsite Must have unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States Must be at least 18 years old Willing and available to work any shift including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of a 24x7/365 operation Willing and able to view all content including that considered to be mature in nature, repetitive, and potentially controversial Desired skills: Prior professional experience working in master control or a production control room The ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations Ability to adapt to new and changing workflows and software implementations Acute attention to detail and a knack for identifying inconsistencies Ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills A punctual, hardworking, disciplined, and dependable individual Fluency or proficiency in Spanish is a plus Pay range: up to $24.04 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
