Security Control Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Security Control Engineer to support the migration of security control rule management from Prisma Cloud to the C9 application, using Wiz as the primary security data source.This role will focus on React.js development, security policy and control management, MongoDB, REST/GraphQL APIs, and security data integration. The engineer will help build and enhance a next-generation security control management platform that enables security administrators to view, manage, modify, and monitor security control rules.The ideal candidate will work closely with application, security, and platform engineering teams to ensure feature parity with existing Prisma-based integrations and support a smooth transition to the Wiz-based solution.Project OverviewProject PurposeMigrate security control rule management from Prisma Cloud to the C9 application.Use Wiz as the primary security data source.Build a parallel Wiz-based pipeline to replicate existing Prisma data flows.Perform side-by-side validation and testing before retiring legacy Prisma integrations.Ensure continuity of security control operations throughout the migration.Migration StrategyReplicate existing Prisma integrations and data flows using Wiz.Run Prisma and Wiz pipelines in parallel during validation.Support data reconciliation, policy comparison, testing, and migration activities.Identify and resolve discrepancies between Prisma and Wiz data.Support the seamless transition from legacy integrations to the Wiz platform.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication DevelopmentDesign, develop, and enhance React.js-based UI components for security control management.Build enterprise-grade interfaces that enable security administrators to:View and manage security control rules.Create and modify security policies.Manage whitelist and exception rules.Review rule status and audit information.Monitor security control configurations.Improve the usability, performance, and scalability of security control dashboards.Collaborate with backend and security teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.Security Controls & Policy ManagementUnderstand and implement security control configurations and policy requirements.Support management of:Port closure controls.Whitelisting policies.Security policy exceptions.Security control rules and configurations.Rule lifecycle management.Support policy redesign and redefinition as part of the Prisma-to-Wiz migration.Ensure security controls are accurately represented within the C9 application.
