We offer an excellent benefit package, competitive salary, and a great family atmosphere.HVAC TechnicianPerform skilled mechanical duties in the startup, repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of HVAC equipment.Duties And ResponsibilitiesOn site startup technician for various manufacturesTroubleshoot installation of control systems including working on commercial Daikin, Aaeon, LG HVAC systemsSolving issues using reasoning and logic Communication with individuals who installed the systemProgramming of new control system using touchscreens and computersDocumentation of actions taken on the job site on service reports Understanding and reading wiring diagrams during troubleshootingCompleting all startup documentation and sending it to be entered for warrantyPerform other duties and assignments.Maintain regular good attendanceKnowledge And AbilitiesKnowledge of:HVAC trade practices and industry standardsHVAC and refrigeration system theoryMaterials, methods, and tools used in the installation, operation, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systemsUnderstanding of Electrical theory and how it is used in equipment common to the HVAC tradeAbility to read and interpret manualsBrazing and soldering techniquesApplicable health and safety regulationsBasic record‑keeping practicesProper storage and handling of equipment, materials, and suppliesAdvanced Technical KnowledgeLG, AAON commercial HVAC systems, and commercial package unitsVRF systems, with expert-level understanding of refrigerant properties.HVAC controls systems and related troubleshootingAutomated temperature control systemsMechanical, electrical, and hydronic systems relevant to commercial HVAC applicationsModern, computer‑based HVAC platforms; ability to navigate email, internet applications, basic office software, and computer networkingBMS communication systems and functionalityAbility to read and interpret HVAC wiring schematicsEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or G.E.D.
