Job Description Material Handler - 2ND SHIFTNorthwood, Ohio$20/HRSUNDAY 430 PM TO 1 AMMONDAY THRU THURSDAY 330 PM TO MIDNIGHTSummary of Position:Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational requirements.Key Accountabilities:Accurately remove and stock product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory planAccurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properlyLoad and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloadedPicking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach sawCycle CountsIdentify, hold and segregate defective materialComplete paperwork per work instructions, when requiredPerform general clean upInspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnelParticipate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirementsAssist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team leadTrain others when requiredMinimum Requirements:High school diploma/GEDHistory of consistent dependable attendance5 years of warehousing experience – especially in metals industryShipping experienceAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to read, write and perform basic math skillsPrevious forklift experienceMust be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motionsPreferred Requirements:Use of hand held measuring toolsBasic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.LEAN and/or Quality Control experience#IES1
