Position Title Senior Assistant to Senior Administrator/Administrative Coordinator Department Office of Admissions -Group Pay Type Non Exempt Appointment Type (A) Continuing Full-Time Hours Per Week 32.5 Number of weeks 52 weeks per year other - # of weeks 52 Benefits Eligible Full Benefits Geographical Regional Qualifies for Relocation Reimbursement No Work ScheduleJob DescriptionGeneral Scope of DutiesSchedule appointments, give information to callers, and otherwise relieve senior administrator of clerical work and various administrative and business details.General Duties and ResponsibilitiesPriority Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the senior administrator's appointment calendarAct as tuition exchange (TUX) liaisonAssist with counselor cultivationProvide administrative support to senior administrator and associates as needed and maintain confidentiallyAdvise senior administrator of department issues that require attentionGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare correspondence and answer same where appropriateArrange all travel for senior administratorAssist with mailings, data entry and phones as necessaryEnter all application decision ratingsProvide statistics/data queries as neededTake and archive minutes for various meetingsProvide information as appropriate or as requestedGreet visitors and assist them as necessaryMaintain filesOther administrative responsibilities, as assigned or as necessaryA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedEducation and SkillsHigh School Diploma required with 5 years of experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the College and communityProficient in Microsoft OfficeHigh integrity needed to handle confidential informationKnowledge of general office equipmentAttention to detailWell-organized, able to work under pressure, plan and accomplish goalsNo travel requiredPreferred Qualifications Physical Demands Driving Required No Salary Range $25.27-$27.27 NoteConnecticut College is committed to fair and competitive compensation.
