Find your future with us.As a Lead DSP Subsystems/Algorithms Engineer you will design and develop state-of-the-art, space-based communication systems for commercial, civil and/or national security programs. You will be part of a highly-motivated team that works with domestic or international customers on their latest satellite systems.Project assignments typically span the unit life cycle, from internal trades, concept studies and system definition, to satellite unit development and test. Candidates will belong to or lead a systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration and test engineers, and senior technologists.Primary Responsibilities:Design and develop next generation RF and digital satellite communication systemsDevelop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithmsConduct performance analysis of signal processing modelsPerform waveform development and characterizationPerform trade studiesSupport integration ant test of our payloads and spacecraft from unit level through in-orbit operationsSupport HDL-level design and verificationLead teams Perform detailed system design and verification activitiesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Experience performing systems engineering activities in full systems engineering lifecyclePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Familiarity with a broad range of Engineering disciplines.Ability to remain on task and meet goals in a dynamic environment.Ability to adapt to the Systems Engineering tool set.Project Management experience.Ability to work in a disciplined environment with process rigorTypical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
