Job DescriptionCertification DetailsMRI Certification (must be achieved within 12 months of hire)AHA BLSJob DetailsEntry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care in various care settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team.Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.Conducts post-procedure review to ensure completion and quality.Transfers images and data to archival systems and prepares studies for physician reporting.Performs quality control, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.Job RequirementsSkill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.Professional communication with staff, patients, and families.High level of initiative and attention to detail.Core knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology.Ability to apply primary specialty theory and techniques with general supervision.Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular specialty program or JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program.Associate's degree or higher preferred.Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification within 12 months of hire date.Schedule InformationShift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7am-7pmHours per day: 12Hours per week: 36
