The company is seeking a Senior QA Engineer capable of owning the full quality assurance lifecycle across complex software projects. The role requires experience with manual testing, automated testing frameworks, and structured regression testing. The QA engineer will work closely with engineering teams, delivery managers, and clients to ensure software releases meet production standards. Candidates must be comfortable participating in client discussions, explaining testing outcomes, and ensuring quality expectations remain aligned with project scope. Responsibilities Own the complete quality assurance lifecycle across client projects Design and execute manual test plans and structured regression testing Build and maintain automated test suites for critical workflows Test web applications, APIs, and backend systems Validate feature functionality against acceptance criteria Identify edge cases, performance issues, and system failures Work closely with developers to diagnose and resolve defects Document reproducible bugs with clear steps and technical context Participate in sprint reviews, release readiness checks, and client demos Provide QA reporting and testing summaries during client-facing meetings Ensure stable production releases through rigorous testing procedures Required Experience 7+ years professional experience in software quality assurance Experience with both manual testing and automated testing frameworks Strong background in regression testing for production systems Experience testing modern web applications and APIs Experience working in client-facing consulting or product environments Ability to independently create test strategies and testing documentation Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills Comfortable collaborating directly with engineering teams and stakeholders Technical Experience Candidates should be comfortable testing systems built with technologies such as Frontend React Next.js modern web frameworks Backend REST APIs Python or Node.js services Data PostgreSQL and relational databases data pipelines and integrations Automation Selenium Playwright Cypress automated regression testing frameworks Infrastructure cloud-hosted systems (AWS / GCP / Azure) CI/CD deployment pipelines Ideal Candidate Profile Experienced QA professional with exposure to multiple production software systems Able to independently design comprehensive test plans Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline Comfortable identifying edge cases and system vulnerabilities Able to communicate clearly with engineers, delivery managers, and clients Comfortable operating within fast-moving consulting environments What Success Looks Like Production releases with minimal defects Comprehensive regression coverage across key workflows Early detection of issues before deployment Clear QA reporting and communication with engineering teams and clients About NextGen Coding Company NextGen Coding Company is a U.S.-based software development firm focused on building enterprise-grade technology platforms.
