The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory and purchase order processing from the creation of the order to the receipt of the product. This will include collaboration with Buyers on what products to order, creation of orders in our system, adjustments to orders that have already been placed, follow-up with source suppliers on the status of open orders, and working with suppliers to expedite orders or address other service-related issues.
Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour to 28.00 per hour
Monday through Friday: 8 AM to 5 PM
You will
Create, release, and track purchase orders accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and inventory requirements.
Develop a relationship with the buying team in order to effectively understand our products and the relationships with our source suppliers.
Develop a relationship with our source suppliers to ensure the timely resolution of any issues with purchase order processing.
Urgently follow up with business partners to get updates on deliveries, adjust delivery parameters, or to address service issues. Press for immediate answers to meet deadlines and maintain desired service levels.
Provide support as needed to the daily ordering and inventory activities of the Purchasing Department.
Problem-solving skills: Able to use logic and accepted methods to solve problems and identify effective solutions.
You have
Bachelor's Degree, in a related discipline preferred.
Prior purchasing, inventory management and supply chain-related experience preferred.
Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel. An aptitude to learn other technical applications quickly.
