With deployed systems across 2.5 GW of hyperscale campuses, we are scaling faster than the grid itself—turning power from a constraint into a competitive advantage.The Role The Supply Chain Manager – Batteries & Inverters owns strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement for critical energy-storage and power-conversion components. This role focuses on lithium-ion battery systems, inverters, and power conversion equipment , ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and on-time delivery while supporting rapid scale.You will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Quality to align supply chain strategy with technical requirements and business objectives.Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Category ManagementOwn sourcing strategies for battery cells, modules, packs, racks, BMS components , and inverters / power conversion systems (PCS)Lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and contract executionDrive cost reduction through competitive sourcing, multi-sourcing, and TCO analysisManage long-lead items and coordinate production capacity with OEMsSupplier & Compliance ManagementQualify and manage suppliers across performance, quality, cost, and deliveryEnsure compliance with UL, IEC, IEEE, NEC , and battery shipping requirements ( UN38.3, MSDS, hazmat )Lead supplier performance reviews, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plansPlanning, Logistics & ExecutionCollaborate on demand forecasting, inventory strategy, and safety stock planningOversee inbound logistics for domestic and international shipments, including hazmat materialsMonitor material availability, lead times, and supply risks impacting production or deploymentCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Engineering on specifications, supplier capabilities, and new technology qualificationSupport Operations with production readiness and project deliveryAlign with Finance on budgeting, spend analysis, and cost reportingSupport Quality with supplier audits and NCR resolutionQualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field5–10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurementExperience sourcing industrial, electrical, energy, or power-electronics componentsStrong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skillsFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics toolsExperience with battery systems, inverters, or energy storage strongly preferredWhy This Role Work on real, deployed power systems at gigawatt scaleDirect impact on scaling AI and hyperscale infrastructureHigh-ownership role with visibility across engineering, operations, and leadershipOpportunity to shape the supply chain of next-generation technologyPowered by JazzHR
