Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll systems, with a strong background in implementation, configuration, and support. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing payroll solutions, and ensuring seamless payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: PeopleSoft Payroll Implementation: Lead and participate in the implementation and upgrade of PeopleSoft Payroll systems, including version 9.2 or higher. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they align with payroll best practices. Configuration and Customization: Configure the PeopleSoft Payroll module to meet business needs, including payroll processing, taxation, deductions, and garnishments. System Testing: Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system functionality and ensure accuracy in payroll processing. User Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the PeopleSoft Payroll system. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve functional issues in PeopleSoft Payroll, working closely with technical teams for any necessary code fixes. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of payroll processes, configurations, and customizations. Compliance: Ensure payroll processes comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies. Integration: Work with other PeopleSoft modules such as HR, Time and Labor, and Benefits to ensure seamless integration with payroll. Reporting: Develop and generate payroll reports and queries to meet business needs, using PeopleSoft Query and other reporting tools. Required Skills: PeopleSoft Payroll Expertise: Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, particularly with version 9.2 or higher. Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll processes, including payroll cycles, tax regulations, deductions, and year-end processing. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Configuration and Customization: Proficiency in configuring PeopleSoft Payroll modules and developing custom solutions as needed. Testing and Quality Assurance: Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans for payroll systems. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
