Job ID: 2613054Location: North Charleston, SC, USDate Posted: 2026-05-28Category: Wage Determination (SCA)Subcategory: Service Contract ActSchedule: Full-TimeShift: Day JobTravel: NoMinimum Clearance Required: NoneClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretPotential for Remote Work: ORA_ON_SITEDescriptionSAIC is seeking an Integration Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC to support MADIS (Marine Air Defense Integrated System).Primary function includes activities such as basic machining, modification, fabrication, assembly and test for metal, electrical and COTS components.Job Description:Will be primarily tasked with performing moderate to complex vehicle integration tasks to include cable routing, metal work installations, and technical support to integrate, install, modify, and perform upgrades in support of C5ISR systemsMay assemble cabinets, chassis, consoles, or similar devices and install them with electronic or electro-mechanical equipmentWorks from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functionsConstruct components, subunits, or simple models, adapt standard equipment, and troubleshoot system failures through various skill methods to correct malfunctionsConduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipmentRead and follow integration documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, drawings and diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretationSet up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exact tolerances and dimensionsInterprets drawings, sketches, and engineering specifications; determines sequence of operations for fabrication; uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining; fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment requiredBe able to safely complete all of the physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment, including but not limited to the following:Lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basisWalking, bending, stooping, sitting, standing or squatting for extended periodsRepeatedly manipulating and handling tools needed for installing electrical components, Mechanical parts and metal work into vehicles. Familiar with the use and operation of power tools is necessaryMove and arrange cable supplies and electronic equipment QualificationsRequired Education:Associate degree in engineering technology, or formal electronics training from: Technical School, Class A or B Military school in electronics or communications; or High School and 2 years of related experienceRequired Experience:Must have appropriate experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair of VME based systems, digital, switches, radio frequency transmitters, receivers, antennas, and modemsRequired Clearance:Minimum of secret clearanceUS Citizenship is required to meet the security requirements for this contractActive CAC card or NIWC badge is desirable.
