DescriptionProcess Maintenance Mechanic / Welder - Elko, NVJob Summary:We are seeking hardworking, experienced professionals to join our team. This is an hourly, non-exempt position that will report to the Process Maintenance Superintendent. In this position, you must understand and promote Safety as your top priority. Tasks include but are not limited to conveyor belt pulley replacement, rebuild and replace process pumps, maintenance and installation of wear liner packages, structural welding skills, and basic knowledge of pipe fitting.This position is based in our Southwest Region (AZ, Las Vegas, TX)Benefits Included:Competitive WagesInsurance - Medical, Dental & Vision401k Company MatchingHealth Savings AccountLife InsurancePaid Time Off (Accrued)Job Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: This position requires a commitment to safety as our number one priority and a strong dedication to producing quality workIdentify and properly use, inspect, and maintain personal protective equipment, including but not limited to boots, glasses, hardhat, gloves, face shield, goggles, leathers, earplugsBe able and willing to work a variety of schedules, including day or night shiftsComply with all policies and procedures in Employee HandbookAbility to safely lift 75-100 lbs frequently, using proper lifting techniquesUnderstand and perform lock out/tag out proceduresIdentify and use basic rigging/lifting devices (cables, chains, come along, shackles, slings, straps, electric winches)Identify and use basic tools (hand tools: shovel, rake, pick, mill bars, wrenches, sockets, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, measuring tape) (electric tools: impacts, drills, grinders, chop saw, band saw, winches, air compressor, generators)Must be skilled in use of cutting/welding equipment (torch, welder)Ability to operate forklift, come along, air impacts, air hoist, tugger, hydraulic rams, porta powers, pressure washerBeginning ability to analyze job and tools requiredAbility to drive truck/trailer combinationsIdentify the tools and equipment needed for the task at handPerform routine maintenance and liner replacement on all crushing and milling equipment, including cone and gyratory crushers, roaster mills, ball mills, SAG mills, slurry pumps, and cyclonesAbility to perform conveyor pulley replacement, repair, and rebuildOther job duties as assigned by managementRequirements: Must have at least 2 years of experience working in mills or around industrial equipment.Must have at least 2 years of general welding experience.A valid driver's license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employmentHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentWilling to travel for projectsAbility to develop and sustain positive working relationships with all personnelPossess good communication skills, i.e., written, verbal, and listening Criteria/Conditions: Work is performed in various industrial settings, including - Shop environment, mining environment, and construction environment.
