Software Engineer
Overview:
This is a Software Engineer role focused on building and supporting scalable backend applications, APIs, and systems within a fintech environment. The engineer will work primarily with C#, JavaScript, and SQL, partnering with business and technology teams across the full development lifecycle while contributing to architecture, CI/CD, testing, and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs from conception through deployment.
Create technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering.
Deliver high-quality software solutions through individual and team contributions.
Implement modern architectural designs to enhance existing systems and frameworks.
Support CI/CD pipeline development and automated testing suites.
Optimize development workflows and system functionality through cross-functional collaboration.
Maintain code quality standards and participate in peer code reviews.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year, preferred 3+ years, of backend software development experience.
Expertise in C# and JavaScript programming languages.
Strong command of SQL programming and database engineering principles.
Experience with scalable systems, API development, and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
Knowledge of financial services or fintech environments is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
