As a Senior Principal, you will be at the forefront of systems architecture design and implementation including applications, data and emerging technology domains. A successful Senior Principal can translate business and technical requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large, complex IT solutions. This position requires a leader who can identify current and future risks, works well with others and performs in challenging situations, and is pragmatic and motivated by long-term results while addressing short-term needsIn This Role, You WillEnable the business in its strategic initiatives by consistently applying the appropriate level of security controls, ensuring alignment with Cybersecurity Guiding PrinciplesCreate security requirements for applications, solutions, networks, data warehouses, data analytics, automation, cloud environments, borderless networks, and initiatives that optimize resource usage based on a thorough understanding of security and operational risksParticipate in requirements gathering, develop technical architecture, validate and integrate technical designs as blueprints for secure application, network, and product development that support business intelligenceAdapt and refine existing frameworks to enhance the maturity and optimization of security controls and services or suggest alternatives to bolster security effectivenessEngage in complex problem resolution throughout the SDLC, including supervisory roles in build processes, test automation, and system monitoring undertaken by cybersecurity business partnersSupervise cybersecurity testing initiatives, including the design of processes and standards, effort estimation, resource forecasting, and risk managementReporting StructureThis role reports to: VP Cybersecurity ArchitectureQualificationsWhat makes you a dream candidate?Proven experience with Cloud Security industry standards and a verified background with Cloud and SaaS solutionsDocumented expertise in conducting POCs utilizing emerging technologies across several domains, Identity, Network, Data, App, and moreFamiliarity with implementing authentication solutions such as SSO, Oauth, MFA, and IAMExceptional analytical and technical skills with expert-level capability in architecture and developmentOutstanding interpersonal skills with the proficiency to engage with executive stakeholdersExperience in implementing technical solutions that resolve business challenges while understanding new technological capabilitiesExperienceBachelor’s Degree requiredExperience 12+ years’ experience in the security of diverse technologies and processing environments required5-7 years’ experience as Lead Security Architect, Network Architect, Solutions Architect or similar leadership role5-7 years driving thought leadership and innovation across products requiredRelevant certifications and/or licenses requiredWhat We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.Our Culture: Our team members define and shape our culture.
