Packaging Engineer - 253169

Responsibilities:Lead development of packaging designs, procedures, and guidelines to ensure performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability for sterile and non-sterile productsCreate packaging concepts through release, including CAD designs (SolidWorks or Creo) for all packaging levelsDevelop component specifications and oversee packaging testing, validation, and analysisPartner with engineering teams to deliver effective packaging solutions while managing multiple timelinesDesign and validate packaging for transportation and sterilizationSupport continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiativesContribute to risk management documentation (e.g., DFMEA, PFMEA)Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturable, scalable designsStay current on packaging technologies, materials, and industry best practicesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality, Microbiology, or related field4+ years of packaging design/development experience (medical device preferred)2+ years of CAD experience (SolidWorks or Creo)Knowledge of QSR and relevant packaging standardsStrong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skillsDetail-oriented, self-driven, and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a lab/office environment and lifting up to 30 lbs
