State Fund is seeking an Insurance Accounting Manager to drive accuracy, compliance and team excellence.In this role, you’ll lead a team of senior accounting analysts and play a key part in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. You’ll help drive the monthly close process and ensure compliance with statutory accounting principles (SAP) and internal controls.What You’ll DoUnder the direction of the Senior Insurance Accounting Manager, you will:Lead and oversee the accurate and timely reporting of State Fund’s financial information in compliance with SAPManage the general ledger and oversee related data, processes, and system integrityProvide leadership, support, and clear performance expectations for staffThe ideal candidate will have the following:CPA designation (preferred)Knowledge of SAP and/or GAAPProven experience leading a team in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to meet reporting deadlines with accuracy and consistencyExperience with process improvements and internal controlsSolid understanding of accounting policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsExcellent leadership and communication skillsWhy Join Us?You won’t just be closing books, you’ll be shaping how financial reporting operates in a complex, mission-driven environment.
