Travel X-Ray Technologist | Mc Gregor, Texas

Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Radiologic Technologist - Travel Opportunity in McGregor, TXA healthcare facility near McGregor, TX, is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing disease and injury. This travel assignment offers a 13-week opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology, including fluoroscopy, OR equipment (C-arm, O-Arm), trauma imaging, and portable systems.Location:McGregor, TX, is a vibrant community offering a blend of small-town charm and access to major city amenities. Conveniently located near Waco, this region provides cultural attractions, outdoor activities, and a welcoming atmosphere that supports a balanced lifestyle.Responsibilities:Conduct radiologic imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.Ensure the highest quality of images through proper equipment operation and patient positioning.Monitor radiation doses and adhere to safety regulations to protect patients and staff.Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain procedures and assess tolerance.Maintain a clean, organized workspace and collaborate with engineering and physics staff to optimize equipment.Record and maintain patient imaging documentation accurately in compliance with policies.Provide on-call coverage approximately every 4-6 weeks.Assist in training and mentoring new team members as needed.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic technology, including fluoro, OR imaging, trauma, and portable X-rays.Certification by ARRT and MRT credentials.Current BLS (AHA) certification.Ability to wear appropriate solid-color scrubs; facility-branded attire may be purchased if desired.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patient care and team collaboration.Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 schedule).Call coverage required (every 4-6 weeks).AM shift availability.Additional Details:Job type: Travel assignment, 13 weeks duration.Interview process: Phone or virtual.Temporary to permanent conversion possible.This role is ideal for technologists committed to delivering accurate and compassionate imaging services in a supportive environment.
