Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoLead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, budget, and schedule.Design and coordinate detailed engineering for new construction and expansion projectsDevelop specifications, bid packages, construction schedules, etc. to insure completion of projects on time and within budget.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Maintain accurate records and documentation for each projectProvide technical guidance and support to team members.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.What You'll NeedExperience working on fast-track projectsDemonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same timeAbility to stand and sit for duration of shift, for a minimum of 8 hoursA minimum of 5 years experience in a similar roleProficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferredYour EducationBachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
