This position requires strong accountability, hospitality skills, and the ability to work autonomously. The Halfway House Server / Attendant is responsible for food and beverage preparation, bartending service, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked operation throughout each shift.Responsibilities, Essential Duties & Expectations:Independently open, operate, and close the Halfway House facilityProvide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to members and guestsPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club policiesVerify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service (must be 21+)Prepare simple food items according to established recipes and safety standardsMaintain consistent food and beverage quality and presentationManage and monitor daily inventory levels of food, beverages, and suppliesCommunicate ordering needs to management in a timely mannerMaintain proper labeling, dating, and storage of all productsEnsure compliance with health department and alcohol service regulationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the facility at all timesAccurately process transactions through the POS systemHandle member requests and resolve concerns in a professional mannerMonitor pace of play flow and anticipate member needs during peak timesTroubleshoot operational challenges independently and report significant issues to managementMaintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptlyJob Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:Prior bartending experience preferred or strong willingness and ability to learnBasic cooking skills preferred or willingness to learn food preparationStrong leadership and independent work ethicHigh level of dependability and accountabilityExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage inventory and maintain stock levels efficientlyAbility to multitask in a fast-paced outdoor environmentProfessional, energetic, and service-oriented demeanorStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to problem-solve independently with minimal supervisionPhysical Requirements, Working Conditions and Other factors:Work is performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, humidity, wind, and sun exposureMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisRequires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motionsMust be able to stock coolers and storage areasTalking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with members and guestsRequires manual dexterity to operate bar equipment, kitchen equipment, and POS systemsAbility to work independently for extended periodsEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be 21 years of age or olderPrior bartending experience preferredPrevious hospitality or food service experience preferredAlcohol service certification preferredFood safety certification preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
