Here's what helps you succeed in this role:Prior experience is a MUST (training or schooling will NOT be provided)Experience with basic knowledge of electrical trade methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipmentPossession of a valid Class C New York State driver's licenseEducation equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; trade school courses preferred Knowledge of electrical principles and their application to the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and devicesKnowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipment used in the electrical tradeKnowledge of safety factors in the operation of equipment and materialsKnowledge of applicable safety codes, ordinances, and regulationsAbility to read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematicsAbility to maintain accurate records and reports on completed assignmentsAbility to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and toolsAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructionsAbility to observe safety requirements and safe work practices and methodsAbility to establish and maintain cooperative work relationshipsOUR MISSIONFor over 30 years, Szulgit Electric has been a trusted name in electrical and security contracting across Western New York and beyond.
