Salary commensurate with experience*Overview:Location: RemoteSalary: $90,000 - $110,000We are seeking a JIRA Developer who will support our client by administering, configuring, and maintaining Jira for software development, QA, defect management, requirements traceability, and release processes. This role will help streamline workflows, maintain documentation, support end users, and ensure Jira configurations align with project and client needs. The ideal candidate has hands-on Jira administration experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users. Duties: Administer, configure, and maintain Jira to support software development, testing, defect management, and release processesDesign and manage Jira configurations including workflows, issue types, screens, field configurations, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rulesSupport and maintain requirements traceability processes using the RTM tool, including creating and managing RTMs with easeDraft Batch Release Notes of Jira changes on a regular basisCreate, update, and maintain documentation such as user guides, SOPs, process flowsDevelop and deliver training content and end-user support materialsManage user access, roles, groups, and permissionsTroubleshoot Jira-related issues, including configuration errors, workflow gaps, permission conflicts, and user-reported problemsMandatory Qualifications:Associates degree or combination of experience and education2 – 5 years of experience as a Jira Developer2 – 5 years of experience working with Jira ReportingHands-on experience administering and configuring Jira in support of software development, QA, and release management processes2+ years of experience with Jira configuration elements (workflows, work types, custom fields, screens, Schemes, permissions, notifications, dashboards, filters, automations, etc.)Strong written and communication skills to draft and send Batch Release Notes or similar tooling to generate and manage release communications from Jira dataStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving Jira configuration, workflow, permission, and integration issuesDesirable Qualifications: Familiarity with requirements management to support requirements traceability matrix’s (RTMs) and end-to-end traceability across requirements, test cases, design documents, and releasesExperience developing training content, user guides, SOPs, and reference materials for technical and non-technical usersCloud and Things complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding recruitment and hiring.
