Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages)Beer, Wine, and Liquor RetailersBeer, Wine, and Distilled Alcoholic Beverage Merchant WholesalersTraveler AccommodationRestaurants and Other Eating PlacesBartenderUnder the direct supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor, this position mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar for Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge.To perform the job successfully, an individual should perform the following essential functions of the position:Takes orders and serves food, according to service standardsMixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinksServes wine and draught or bottled beerCollects money for drinks servedRequisitions liquors and suppliesArranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displaysSlices and pits fruit for garnishing drinksInforms guests of all food, beverage and bar promotionsAdheres to accounting practices and standardsResponsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar areaWorks closely with the kitchen in the preparation and serving of foodBreaks down bar, locks up liquor and stores fruit and juices properlyAccepts responsibility for recognizing over-indulgence of alcoholic beverages by customersOther duties as assigned by managers/supervisorsComplies with laws of the State of Georgia
