SQL Database Administrator

We are committed to delivering top-notch database solutions and ensuring the highest level of performance, security, and reliability for our clients.Job Description: As a SQL Server Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability and consistent performance of various corporate applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform database administration tasks including backups, restores, monitoring, query tuning, indexing, capacity management, patching, and future proofingManage and maintain all aspects of SQL Server databases, including Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed InstanceEnsure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and securityAnalyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing problem resolution end-to-endRefine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist full-stack developers with complex query tuning and schema refinementProvide 24x7 support for critical production systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hoursImplement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privilegesDevelop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and processesCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of database solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 4+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database AdministratorCertification in SQL Server (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Management and AnalyticsStrong experience with SQL Server (on-prem), Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Managed InstanceProficiency in database performance tuning and optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExperience with backups, restores, and recovery modelsKnowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, including Availability GroupsExperience with Windows Server, including Active DirectoryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillAbility to work independently and as part of a teamm.Bonus experience but not requiredAdministration in Microsoft Fabrtools such as SQL Server Integration Services and/or Azure Data FactoryPower Platform (Flows, Apps, Page
