Healthcare Security Shift Supervisor
Premier Security, a local company, is currently seeking to hire a dedicated Healthcare Facility Security Shift Supervisors. We are excited to present a compelling full-time overnight schedule opportunity. Candidates will have the chance to secure an Oregon DPSST Unarmed Professional Security License facilitated upon hire. The role of a Shift Supervisor in the healthcare environment is both distinctive and rewarding. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and fostering your team to establish a secure and tranquil atmosphere for hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of tasks that blend security with exceptional customer service. These tasks encompass, but are not limited to, defusing tense situations, welcoming and registering visitors, conducting screenings, managing parking lot traffic flow, conducting foot patrols both internally and externally, and monitoring certain hospital facility systems.
As a Supervisor, your responsibilities will extend to acting as a vital connection between the security team and the facility itself. This includes managing schedules, reviewing and deciding on time-off requests, composing daily reports, arranging coverage for open shifts, employing critical thinking to address challenges, participating in employee evaluations, and being a knowledgeable resource for security and facility personnel regarding policies and procedures. Although prior security experience is advantageous, it is not obligatory. We are seeking individuals who are motivated to achieve excellence and contribute effectively within a team. Minimum qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a high school diploma or GED

Description and Qualifications:
Officers will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors and/or property. Duties may include: patrol, emergency response, incident reporting, and access control.
