Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be skilled in various nursing practices. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and travel nursing assignments. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Responsibilities - Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Perform infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients. - Assist in esthetic laser treatments and outpatient procedures as needed. - Manage DME (Durable Medical Equipment) needs for patients. - Conduct IV infusion therapy and monitor patient responses. - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care. Experience Candidates should have a valid nursing license and relevant experience in the following areas: - Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with medical office operations and long-term care settings. - Proficiency in infection control protocols. - Experience with esthetic laser treatment is a plus. - Knowledge of ventilatory support techniques is advantageous. - Previous experience in outpatient care settings is beneficial.
