Driver/Camera Operator
Driver Camera OperatorShifts: 1st shift . Average will be 10-12 hour shifts 3/4 days a week.Must be flexible to various shifts on weekdays, and weekends.Will average 32-38 hours per week (Weather permitting) Hours increasing into spring.Start/End times will vary. 1st shift can start as early as 3am (average 5am-6am) 3rd shift can start as early as 5pm (average 7-8pm)Pay: $21.00-22.00 per hour/ paid weeklyLocation: Rensselaer, NYResponsibilities:Deploy assigned enforcement unit vehicle to assigned deployment sites; this may require local travel or travel within the state (Sites are as close as 15-mins away and as far as 4-hours away)Setup sign stands/Take down and Actively Monitor Camera system inside the jeep.Monitor plate quality/legibility of captured incidents.(Must have the ability to multitask)Data entry into iPhone/Laptop (Basic knowledge of iPhone and Windows)Monitor weather and lighting and make camera adjustments as necessaryCommunicate with supervisor and other operators throughout entire shiftResponsible for professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling to and from sites and while representing the company at any time.Log and report equipment-related issuesRequired to wear protective equipment while in the field which can include reflective gear, work boots, hard hats and safety glasses.Requirements:Drug and background screeningValid Driver's License-Clear driving record is required by clientHigh School Diploma or GEDGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform job at a high level with little supervisionAbility to sit for long periods of timeIntermediate knowledge of operating computers and related equipmentPhotography knowledge and skills a plusSteel toe shoesBenefits (employee contribution):Health insuranceHealth savings accountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending accountsLife insuranceRetirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
