Bison Trailers, LLC Role:                                   Intern Associate Engineer       Position Reports to:     Senior EngineerTarget Start Date:        Immediate openingIntern role summary:Bison, located in Milford, Indiana would like to partner with a local college to outline an ongoing Intern Engineering role supporting the Senior Engineer in a Make-to-Order complex configuration driven living quarters manufacturing environment.Bison has recently implemented (Go Live 1/5/26) a SaaS based ERP system (Aptean M2M) including an Advanced Product Configuration (APC) module, so there are various ERP Engineering module setup activities that are being refined. Additionally, Phase II includes a planned conversion from Auto Cad to Solid Works which will include a Cad-Link software implementation project to integrate Solid Works with the M2M ERP System. Intern Activities and AssignmentsAssist with Auto Cad to Solid Works conversion projectAssist with CADD Drawings to support Sales and ProductionAssist with various design aspects of the Trailer including structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and cabinetryAssist with Item Master , ensuring concise and accurate Item Master detailsAssist with Bill of Material (BOM) development and maintenanceAssist with Routing development and maintenanceAssist in the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process control and administration, including Production Change Orders as assignedParticipate in the Product Development and Management (PDM) Committee meetings and support as assignedAssist with various compliance audits, including TRA and other RVIA compliance related auditsJob skills, requirements and qualifications:Solid Works courses and trainingInterested in learning Engineering support duties in a manufacturing environmentGood communication skills, interested in learning to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsInterested in learning ERP software and systems, specifically as they relate to the Engineering functionsReliable, self-starter mindsetDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite – Teams, Excel, Word
