Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician Opportunity Near BRONX, NY Job Summary:We are actively seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to join our healthcare team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care in the Bronx, NY area.Responsibilities:Comprehensive Primary Care:Provide a full scope of primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.Patient Evaluation:Review patients history and perform physical examinations.Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care.Refer patients to specialists as needed.Clinical Diagnostics:Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care.Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits.Prescription and Management:Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.Relationship-Centered Care:Provide relationship-centered care, considering the patients psychosocial and physical needs.Documentation and Communication:Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records.Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.Education and Collaboration:Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.Qualifications:Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent.Residency: Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine.Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine.Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure.Registration: Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.Enrollment: Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.Certification: BLS or ACLS strongly preferred.Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Technology Comfort: Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.Medical Office Hours of Operation:Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PMThursday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PMCompetitive Benefit Package:Competitive Base SalarySign-on BonusMalpractice InsuranceContinuing Medical Education (CME) ReimbursementMedical/Dental/Vision Health InsuranceIf you are a compassionate and skilled Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician seeking a fulfilling opportunity near the Bronx, NY, apply now using reference Job ID # j-189660.
