D3 Search is seeking the following Human Resources/Talent Generalist on behalf of a prominent global AMLAW ranked practice with a thriving office situated in Los Angeles, CA (90067).Position Title🎯:Human Resources/Talent GeneralistNote: Employer (law firm) requires 5+ yrs. of relevant HR/Talent experience in a LAW FIRM environment.Location/Map📌:Los Angeles, CA | 90067 (Century City)Employment Status⏳:Full-time/direct-hire employment. Exempt role. Employer Work Model:Fully onsite work model. Monday - Friday.Position Summary📢:The Talent Services (Human Resources) Generalist provides human resources (HR) support for the office in the following areas: employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, recruitment, and performance management. Key Responsibilities🗝:Serves as a liaison between Business Director, HR and employees by handling and resolving employee relations issues; elevates employee issues as neededServes as point of contact for manager or employee on questions relating to policies or proceduresProvides guidance to employees, monitors communications, and maintains records related to FMLA, STD, and Worker’s Compensation leavesAssists hiring manager in defining job requirements and drafting job descriptionsRecruits and participates in the interview process for professional staff roles Interfaces with employment agencies as needed and makes arrangements for temporary or outsource staffOnboards new employees and conducts new hire orientationPartners with Business Director and Talent Services Manager with annual performance review process for professional staff and associatesAssists managers in dealing with and documenting performance issues; participates in disciplinary meetings or separationsEnsures secretarial and reception coverage is providedCreates HR related reports and provides metrics as neededCoordinates annual benefits open enrollment; serves as liaison between employees and Shared Services in resolving benefit issuesAssists managers in identifying areas of development and makes appropriate recommendations for training and development; may also serve as office liaison for professional staff and attorney professional developmentEnsures compliance with federal and state laws Skills, Qualifications & Competencies🔓:General knowledge of HR principles and practices, as well as employment law complianceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentationHigh attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectivelyAbility to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple tasksRecognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain confidentialityAnalytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative, and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a teamProvide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services, and meet or exceed client expectations; proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help othersTechnology🖥:Experience with ATS and HRIS systems, preferably with WorkdayProficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookExceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quicklyFamiliarity with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar tools and the willingness to incorporate them into daily workflows responsibly and adapt to emerging AI and other technologiesEducation Requirement🎓:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related fieldMinimum five to seven years of experience in Human ResourcesProfessional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP or SPHR/PHR) certification preferredCompensation/Salary💵 & Benefits:This is a full-time, direct hire position paying up to 100K ~ DOQ and offering a comprehensive & robust health benefits package, 401K, generous PTO, paid parking onsite, annual reviews/bonuses, etc.If interested in this Human Resources/Talent Generalist role with this highly respected & global AMLAW legal practice situated in Los Angeles, CA (90067), and you meet the above qualifications/requirements, please contact the following D3 rep.:Domenic Ferrante ~ D3 Search📡 www.d3search.com📥 | ☎️ 213-785-2485D3 Legal Search, LLC (aka D3 Search) and its clients are equal opportunity employers.
