HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this founding revenue role within a high-growth fintech startup building financial infrastructure solutionsPosition OverviewThe Founding Sales Executive will take ownership of the full commercial sales cycle, from early prospect engagement through closing enterprise-level agreements. This role requires a consultative sales professional capable of translating complex financial infrastructure and API-based products into clear business value for executive stakeholders.The position requires a proactive seller who can independently build pipeline, conduct high-level discovery conversations, and close deals with senior decision makers including finance leaders, technical leaders, and treasury teams. This individual will collaborate closely with leadership to help shape the sales motion, messaging strategy, and commercial execution during an important stage of company growth.Core ResponsibilitiesOwn the complete enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and closingGenerate and maintain a self-sourced pipeline through outbound outreach, professional networks, and strategic targetingConduct consultative discussions with senior stakeholders including CTOs, CFOs, and treasury leadershipTranslate complex fintech infrastructure concepts into clear business outcomes and operational valueMaintain disciplined pipeline management and exceed established revenue targetsContribute to the development of sales messaging, sales processes, and commercial strategyPartner closely with leadership and internal teams to refine the company's go-to-market executionEngage with prospects across multiple channels including meetings, demonstrations, and solution consultationsRequired Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for interview:3-6 years of consultative B2B sales experienceProven track record of meeting or exceeding quota through new business acquisitionDemonstrated ability to build pipeline independently through outbound prospectingExperience selling complex technical solutions, infrastructure products, or developer-focused technologiesAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical decision makersStrong problem-solving ability and consultative selling approachStable employment history without frequent job changesPreferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are strongly preferred:Experience selling financial infrastructure, payments platforms, fintech solutions, or developer toolsBackground in solution-oriented or deployment-style sales environmentsExperience engaging technical and financial stakeholders simultaneouslyCompetitive background such as athletics, military service, or high-performance environmentsDemonstrated entrepreneurial mindset within startup or early-stage environmentsHireNow ChecklistHireNow Staffing is recruiting candidates who demonstrate the following:3-6 years of proven B2B sales experience with consistent quota attainmentExperience generating and managing their own sales pipelineAbility to simplify and communicate complex financial or technical solutionsExperience working in fast-moving sales environments with ownership over the entire sales cycleStrong competitive mindset combined with consultative relationship-building skillsCandidates will be automatically declined if they:Focus solely on transactional deal execution without consultative problem solvingRequire a fully built sales playbook to operate effectivelyCome exclusively from large enterprise organizations with slow sales environmentsDemonstrate job hopping or short employment durations across multiple rolesStandout candidates typically demonstrate:Entrepreneurial or builder mentality within startup environmentsPersonal drive and competitiveness, often reflected through athletics, military experience, or leadership rolesStrong communication ability combined with deep curiosity about financial infrastructure and global paymentsHireNow PackageWork Location: Onsite in New York, New YorkCompensation:Base Salary: $150,000 - $300,000On-Target Earnings (OTE): $300,000 - $600,000Benefits & Additional Compensation:Equity participation opportunitiesFull benefits package including healthcare and retirement programsStandard PTO and company holiday scheduleVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.HireNow Staffing DisclaimerHireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this role.
