Medical Technologist Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,313 to $1,513 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the PositionAlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Medical Technologist in Atlanta, Georgia, 30342!Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients.Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty (Gastroenterology lab or interventional GI experience preferred).Required AHA BLS certification.Experience working in a hospital environment preferred.Ability to follow specimen handling, quality control, and safety procedures for diagnostic laboratories.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Primary Specialty: Clinical Laboratory Scientist.Shift Name: Days.Shift Pattern: 4x10 (four 10-hour day shifts per week).Schedule: Monday through Friday coverage as part of the posted schedule (schedule includes 7:00 AM–5:30 PM pattern per client notes).Department: Gastroenterology Lab / Interventional GI Tech (703A GI Lab).Floating: May be required to float to other facility units as needed.Assignment Length: 13 weeks.Location HighlightsAtlanta, GA offers a mix of urban culture and outdoor access within short drives.
