Job Title: Travel Licensed Clinical Social WorkerLocation - Leavenworth, KSShift: Days – 5x8-hour shiftsGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekContract Length: 13 weeksPay Range: $2100 - $2300 weekly gross DOEPosition SummaryUnder general supervision, the Social Worker provides comprehensive social services to patients and their families within an acute care hospital setting. This rolefocuses on psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, crisis intervention, and coordination of care to support safe and effective transitions across the continuum of care.LCSW/LPC/LMFT candidates only.Essential ResponsibilitiesConduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviewsDevelop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needsProvide counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention services to inmatesMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment and evaluation activitiesEnsure strict confidentiality of all sensitive patient informationApply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively in treatmentPerform comprehensive mental health evaluations based on patient conditionRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of clinical experienceAt least 2 years in a similar or comparable roleEducation RequirementsMaster’s degree in one of the following: Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical fieldDegree must be from an accredited college or universityCertifications & LicensureMust hold one of the following active state licenses: LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)Interested?
