Laundry Care AttendantTEX of S.F. Bay Area has an immediate opening for a Laundry Care Attendant. We are a disaster restoration company that provides emergency services to those who have suffered damages to their clothing/textiles due to water, fire, and/or mold. We are looking to train the right person who is hard working, reliable, and able to function in a fast-paced working environment. ResponsibilitiesWash and fold clothing. Sort articles of clothing to be cleaned by fabric type, color, and cleaning technique. Understand and use of proper drying method for safe handling of each garment. Add detergent, bleach, and other chemicals to laundry machines. Inspect articles of clothing for stains and fabrics that require special care. Maintain all laundry equipment. Follow directions and washing instruction detailed on each individual garment. Knowledge of stain treatment to remove stains. Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies. Have the ability to work overtime, if needed. QualificationsValid driver's license and good driving record. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. Knowledge of fabrics. Be able to stand for long periods of time throughout the day. Ability to bend and kneel. Must be able to speak and understand English. Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Able to work independently.
