Surveillance Inspector

PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking a Resident Surveillance Inspector with strong fabrication experience in large power transformers. This role will support manufacturing oversight for equipment designated for an LNG Project. Focus on shop fabrication activities rather than field installation. Responsibilities Perform surveillance inspections during the fabrication of large power transformers. Verify compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality plans. Monitor critical manufacturing steps, testing, and documentation. Identify and report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions. Provide clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports. Coordinate with the supplier, project team, and client representatives as required. Minimum Requirements 7–10 years of experience in the fabrication of large power transformers. Strong background in shop fabrication environments (not field installation). Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, procedures, and specifications. Experience performing surveillance or third-party inspections. Strong reporting, communication, and documentation skills. Must be located near Rincon, GA
