They bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDatabase Technology Solutions DevelopmentProvides architecture and development for new Dynamics AX interfaces and internal modifications as necessaryProvides architecture and development across all supported SQL server features/components such as: High Availability, Disaster Recovery, SQL Server monitoring, Data Collection, and others utilizing T-SQL, PowerShell and .Net development toolsFocuses on further increasing the levels of automation and self-serviceCollaborates with key vendors and Embedded IT teams in providing innovative added value solutions to the company's SQL Server infrastructureOperationalize new SQL Server featuresResearch new SQL Server features and provide recommendations on their implementation in the company environmentParticipate in designing and implementing new solutions utilizing SQL Server featuresProvide detailed documentation, technical presentations and training for development and support teamsProblem Resolution and Process ManagementDrive problem resolution and root cause analysis across the technology stackParticipate in the resolution of database availability, capacity, and performance issuesContribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes and SQL Server toolsParticipate in infrastructure and organizational initiatives across multiple IT disciplinesOther duties as requiredQualificationsREQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLEEducation Level: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems,Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience in ERP systemsExperience in relational database data warehouse development and maintenance5+ years of experience in an SQL Server Data Administration role3 + years of experience as a Senior Professional DBA3 + years of experience developing applications in Transact SQLHands on experience working with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from concept to production deliveryExperience working on initiatives across multiple IT disciplinesDemonstrated strong knowledge of and adherence to SDLC standardsDemonstrated ability to interface with collaborative work groups to resolve service issuesAbility to participate and drive problem resolution and root cause analysisAbility to analyze situations and develop solutionsStrong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate technical and business information to both technical and non-technical peopleProven ability to establish strong partnerships with customers, vendors and peersMust be able to work with a diverse workgroup made up of various cultural backgrounds, both remote and local employeesMust be able to work both as a team member and independently in multi-tasking fast-paced deadline driven environmentThis position is required to participate in the company's on-call rotationAdditional InformationJENALYN BERNARDO ProsumTechnical RecruiterAwarded 7th "Best Places to Work in Los Angeles"J-18808-Ljbffr
